CASEY

Casey was adopted from the Bladen County Animal Shelter in March of 2010 after her owner saw a photo of her in an ad titled 'Urgent, Time is Up on Friday' on Craigslist. She was surrendered by her owner because she 'kept escaping.' Casey had been in the shelter for 53 days before finally being adopted. Casey is thought to be a 5-year-old Springer Spaniel mix. Though she is warming up to people, Casey is very shy. Her owner tries to take her places to meet new people and gain confidence. Casey loves to go for walks in the park, on trips to visit her 'cousin' Chloe (a Cairn Terrier), and playing with her 'sisters' Abby (3-year-old Australian Shepherd mix), and Pepper ( 9-year-old Australian Shepherd/Black Labrador).
